For the 5 gal. pail use 1/2 h.p. drill of 500+ r.p.m. for the #130, #140, or #141, lump free in 1 minute. Model #142 takes 1/2 h.p. heavy duty drill of 500+ for same mix in 18 seconds. For 3-4 sack batches in 3 minutes, use a 16" diameter, 15-20 gal. "plastic" container and #142 in 500+ power. Keep mixers clean, they mix better. Wash in solvent with small brush.
Powdered block filler, Perltex acoustic, texture material and such for gun application, use a 16" diameter container, 24"-26" deep, a 1/2 h.p. drill of 500+ r.p.m. and model #141 or #142 for fast dispersion. Put liquid in first, and dry material with mixer running submerged. The models #117 or #125 are unequaled.
Cementious fillers and coatings, like Desco Armtex and vinyl materials, use model #130 or #140 for the 5 gal. pail. In the 15 and 20 gal. and/or the 30 and 55 gal. 1/2" drum, use #140 or #142 at 500+ r.p.m.
To mix activator in the 5 qt. two part pack of epoxy and rubberized sealant"caulking compound", use #130, remove and replace lower wheel with upper and use 1 wheel on shaft in 1/2" h.p. drill of 350+ r.p.m. For larger containers use #141 or #142.
